I recently took my mom to Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island where one delights in the crashing of the waves on the rocky shores, the misty rain or downpours common to this part of our beautiful country. The sun peaking through after the mighty wind off the Pacific has swept away the dark gray clouds.

I painted these on the little deck of our lodge room, after breakfast by the fire in the great room…

  1. Very nice little painting Sara, the warm and cool colours work well together, and the little ‘o’s’, like puffs of smoke from a passing steamer.
